The Phonebook is a staff directory providing a central location which is kept up to date with contact details, departments, photos. The Phonebook is both searchable and filterable to allow easy usability.

The Mandatory Read module has proved extremely popular with clients using the AMT Evolve Enterprise Hub Intranet in a Box and we have therefore created a stand alone version. It enables staff to be assigned a list of documents to read and then click a button to confirm they have read the document. This compliance module is ideal for staff to accept Policy changes and HR document changes, Induction training and equipment handbooks.

Mandatory Read showcases the documents and/or pages that must be read by staff members. For example, the module can be configured for new starters and different permission groups (users based on a role, group, location, department), highlighting everything a new employee must read for their induction and on-boarding.

The module requires a SharePoint Online Modern site and includes a Modern experience Web Part that displays a list of any documents the individual user needs to read. The module creates a list of Mandatory Read tasks and acceptances.



Reporting is provided via a separate SharePoint report module with associated views for those members who have accepted the document and those who haven’t. The report can be filtered per user or per document task.

The report can also be provided as a Power BI .pbix file that can be used with the free or Pro version of Power BI, part of the Office 365 suite.

Module Configuration includes full colour choice, default instructions, compact or expanded layout and options to hide the module or show a different background colour if there are no tasks for the user.

The Tiles module is a highly configurable module that is easy to add and config on any site page and can be used for Navigation, promoted links etc.

The configuration includes:

  • Select the number of tiles to appear in a row
  • Add in a Tile title and description that is displayed when ‘hover over’ is enabled
  • Select the URL for the tile to link to
  • Choose either a colour background or image background
  • Choose font colour
  • Choose a Office UI Fabric icon by name if required (from
  • Select Tile order
  • Select whether URL opens in the same window or new tab

Our new Discovery Module is based on our Phone Book Search module but is linked into a SharePoint list on the site. It uses Display Templates and various configuration screens to setup a complicated card type view as below. It is designed to be able to be used for a host of solutions such as a Classified board, Job Board, Product Catalogue.
